Ground Level A large courtyard lends to the front forward of the main entrance to the Xavier Mansion, a towering memorial to Professor Charles Xavier sits with an eternal flame glowing brillantly in memory of those lost. Further back from that is a plush foyer splintering off to various rooms of the mansion while leading further back junctions to the hyperlifts that give access to the Administration Wing where the offices of the Student Dean, Headmaster, and Administrator are located. Access to the back of the mansion can be gained through various points, the main entrance being the kitchen and cafeterias. The Olympic-sized swimming pool dominates the back of the Mansion while the basketball court and Breakstone Lake access flank further out. To the East of the mansion is a garden maze and to the west a baseball diamond complete with spectator seats. Student and Staff Dorms Second, third and fourth floors are dedicated to the living quarters of both student and staff of the Xavier Institute. Judgingly, the second and third floors of the building are similarly designed for student dorm-life, including a study hall, open courtyard and lecture hall for both student club lectures and Student Advisory sessions. In the lower right wing of the X layout is the Student Recreation center which houses both a Rec Room and Media Center with full furnished computer and electronic equipment for both study and amusement. A movie theater is also installed across the rec ro om hall flanked on the right by an open kitchen layout, far be it smaller than the main cafeteria. Third floor, much in way of design, holds the quarters of the facuilty and staff as well as any other guests of the Xavier Institute. With the same basic layout save for the study hall being expansively used as the Dean's Quarters allocating facuilty to have their own kitchen and recreation rooms. |

A direct contrast to the campus grounds and facilities, the sub levels of the Xavier Insitute houses some of the most advanced technologies every imagined, forged by a collection of earth based and alien Shi'ar technologies. The hallway is a buzz with voice activated icons giving an interactive menu and direction locator throughout the entire sub-level. Again, this area is restricted, only avaible to faculty, X-Men, and students, although, students must be accompanied by a faculty member, student advisor, their assigned squad leader, or X-Man. |

The Danger Room The Danger Room was created by Charles Xavier to train the fabled X-Men. In early years of the Danger Room it was, traditionally filled with traps, projectile firing devices, and mechanical dangers such as presses, collapsing walls and the like intended to challenge a trainee. After the befriending of the Shi'ar race, the X-Men's Danger Room was rebuilt with hard-light holographic technology. Upgrades that were largely implemented by Beast and Forge, which give the Danger Room the abilitiy to holographically project anything imaginable for training purposes in any and all 32 bit color and life like renderings. The structure of the Danger Room is spherical with a transparent Command Center on the top where in housed controls of the entire room are located. It is the ultimate battle simulator and an equiped tool for mutant students to hone their control over their abilities. Students are not permitted in the Danger Room save for being with an instructor or X-Man. |

Use of the device can be extremely dangerous, and telepaths without well-trained, diciplined minds put themselves at heavy risk of heavy psychic feedback, and it can also be fatal. Cerebro has been known to be blocked by other telepaths, causing them not to show in the scan, others, such as Magneto, have found mechanical means of avoiding Cerebro's detection. |

| Hanger Bay The Hanger Bay functions as it's name suggests. An underground storage for X-Men equipment and uniforms flank the sub-level entrances. Consisting of a series runway that opens covertly on the Breakstone Lake's Devil's Rock and a VTOL takeoff underneath the basketball court of which occupants are noticed to evacuate the area during access opening by klaxon. The Hanger Bay is home to the X-Men's stealth jet, Blackbird, also known as the X-Jet which is based loosely on the Lockheed SR-71 Stealth plane. Modified to enable stealth camoflauge, drafaction light generators and subsonic Shi'ar technology, the X-Jet can take any squadron into anywhere on the planet in a fraction of traditional time. |
